Welcome Kristell and Christophe will be happy to welcome you to their gîte in La Baume, a hamlet situated at an altitude of 1150 meters (3770 feet) in Haute Provence, just 9 kilometres (5.5 miles) from Castellane. The village is nestled at the foot of a rocky escarpment overlooking Castillon Lake.

Get away from noise and stress at gîte de la Baume. You’ll have a choice between a room in the gîte (formerly the village schoolhouse) or one of our full-comfort guest rooms in a house in the village (located 50 meters from the gîte.)

If you’re travelling by horseback, your horse is also welcome. A fenced field awaits him just behind the gîte.

Alone or with family or friends, you’ll discover the flavours of Provencal cuisine-from traditional dishes like a basil and vegetable soup called "pistou" to our own secret recipes.
